We are getting excited as we prepare for our week of learning at the Glenbow Museum. Thank you for returning the acknowledgment of risk forms as well as the media release form. Parent volunteer forms have gone home with students today, thank you to all the parents who are able to volunteer. We still require volunteers on the Wednesday.
Please make note not to order Fun Lunch for Thursday November 7th as we will not be at the school.
Students came home with Home Reading Folders and school books today. Please read the blue form for more details.
We are looking forward to Halloween at school on the afternoon of Thursday October 31st. Students can bring their costumes to school in the morning and change into them after lunch. Thursday afternoon we will be having a classroom celebration, students are welcome to bring nut-free snacks to share with their classmates. We have 22 students in our class.
Please have costumes that are school appropriate themes- no weapons, no masks, no gore, costume of reasonable size.
Students will parade their costumes in the gym starting at 1:00pm.
(AM Kindergarten students will parade their costumes in the gym at 9:00am).
Parents are invited to come to the gym and find a seat on our curvy parade route.
Participation in these events is optional. If you would like your child not to participate, please contact me.
