Students jumped back into their work, completing their Most Magnificent Thing as well as their Animal Sweater Art.
We worked with our little buddies to co create Animal Sweater Artwork, please stop by to see some completed examples in the frames at the front entrance of the school.
Students worked through the Design Process in order to create "The Most Magnificent Thing" for a peer in Room 7. They have spent time reflecting on how their ideas have evolved throughout the process. From defining the problem, to brainstorming ideas, designing a prototype and building a prototype.
This week we began looking at the relationships between numbers through t-charts that demonstrate increasing and decreasing patterns. In order to compare the charts students had to explore how the given numbers were related in order to determine the pattern rule. We spoke a lot this week about showing our thinking in our math books as we problem solve. We will continue this focus next week.
